Edara Apparel is pleased to introduce our first brand ambassador, Hadley Doyle!

Hadley embodies the athleticism, grit, ambition, mentality and on-court style that Edara celebrates.

Let’s get to know her a bit better!

Edara: Tell us a little bit about yourself!

Hadley: I play tennis for SMU in Dallas, TX. I just graduated with my Bachelors degree, and I have one more year of eligibility. So, I am going back as a grad student, playing one more year and getting my Masters in Business Management.

Edara: How was your 2023 season at SMU?

Hadley: This was my favorite season by far from all of the years I have played for SMU, because we were conference champs. It was a super rewarding experience to be able to do that as a team, because we worked so hard all year to reach that goal which we had set at the beginning of the year. On top of that, I got Conference Player of the Year.. I definitely feel honored to receive that award, because only one player in the conference receives it each year.

Edara: How would you characterize yourself as a tennis player?

Hadley: I would characterize myself as a tennis player as an aggressive grinder. I make a lot of balls, but I also go for it when I get the opportunity. I would also say one of my biggest strengths on court is my competitiveness. I am very loud and competitive, and I will do just about anything to win.

Edara: What advice do you have for young women players who wish to play at the college level?

Hadley: [This advice is better listened to directly from Hadley. Play it on repeat if it is something you need to hear! Have a listen to the video clip.]

Believe in yourself. Your biggest strength is your mentality and your confidence.

Edara: What is one of the biggest lessons you have learned as a college player?

Hadley: What I have learned so much over the years as a junior player and also a collegiate tennis player is that the person who wins is the one who is mentally tougher. You could be a better tennis player and someone could just out-tough you that day. So, I would say a lot of it isn’t necessarily skill but mentality. Do you have what it takes to go the distance? Can you out-tough somebody on a day you aren’t feeling great or are under the weather? A lot of it is just mental toughness.

Edara: Do you have a favorite Edara piece and why?

Hadley: [Have a listen to learn about Hadley’s favorite Edara pieces. Also read more about why she chooses to wear Edara on her own recent blog post.]

We can’t wait to see all Hadley accomplishes both on and off the court, and we are thrilled to have her support as an Edara Apparel brand ambassador. Thanks, Hadley!
